Kevin Spacey is set to play one of the most infamous British men of all-time – Winston Churchill in the biopic Captain of the Gate.
Spacey has been rocking the political drama House of Cards on Netflix to great acclaim, he will now play a famous political figure when he takes on the role of Winston Churchill in Captain of the Gate, written by Ben Kaplan. 
The film will see Spacey’s Churchill rise to power and how he encouraged Britain to take on the force of Hitler’s Nazi army.
Kevin Spacey won two Academy Awards, one for his performance as Verbal Kint in The Usual Suspect, and the other as Lester Burnham in American Beauty. He has also had star turns in such films as LA Confidential, Se7en, The Life of David Gale and KPax.
He will be seen in Horrible Bosses 2 later this year, when the film hits the cinemas.
