Finally, it seems that the critically acclaimed graphic novel Preacher will be hitting our screens, as rumours state AMC have asked for it to be brought to pilot.
They have been behind some of the best television shows in recent years – The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. Now it seems the station are looking to bring Preacher to the small screen. The graphic novel has been rumoured to be adapted for both in film and TV form before, with the likes of Kevin Smith, Darren Aronofsky, Sam Mendes and D.J. Caruso rumoured to be involved in the past. 
Now it looks like Seth Rogan could be involved, after he tweeted the following.
“Looks like about seven of years of hard work are about to pay off. I may get to bring one of my favourite stories ever to life.”
“Arseface. John Wayne, The Saint of Killers.”
Fans will already know, the names mentioned above are all characters from the graphic novel. Fans will now be rejoicing as their dream of seeing a live action version of Preacher become closer to fruition.
