Today Microsoft announced a reduction in price for the Xbox One. As of 28th February 2014 the console will cost UK residents £399.99.
In conjunction with the release of Titanfall, Microsoft have also announced a Xbox One Titanfall bundle pack available from 14th March. This includes:
- Xbox One Console
- Xbox One Controller
- Xbox One Headset
- Titanfall digital download
- One month subscription to Xbox Live Gold
This bundle is available for pre-order now in the UK for the same price as the console on it’s own, that’s right, £399.99. If you were considering purchasing the Xbox One and eager to play Titanfall, now may be your time. Stocks will be limited to similar levels of the Xbox One release.
If you are interested on why us fellow British citizen’s seem to be less wealthy than the US, try this. The Xbox One in the US is $500. Converted into Great British Pounds it comes to £300.38 (to be exact), yet we are paying £400…got to love the tax man.
If you think the current next generation consoles are somewhat expensive, this is what some of the previous consoles would have cost if released now with the current inflation. Prices are based for the UK.

- NeoGeo – £900
