Ted 2 now has a female lead to star opposite Mark Wahlberg and the foul-mouthed teddy bear, as Amanda Seyfried has joined the cast.
Deadline was the first to report the news that Amanda Seyfried will play the love interest to Wahlberg’s character. We don’t know where that leaves Mila Kunis – will she play a small role or none at all?
Ted was released in 2012 and was classed by many as that year’s funniest film. Seth McFarlane, the man behind Family Guy and American Dad, directed and voiced the teddy bear in the original, will return for the sequel.
Seyfried will also star in McFarlane’s nest film A Million Ways to Die in the West, which opens in May. Ted 2 is pencilled in for a release on July 10th 2015.
