Zachary Quinto has joined the cast of the movie Agent 47, which of course is based on the hit video game series Hitman.
Quinto is becoming something of a star in recent years. His turn as Sylar in the television series Heroes was the turning point which led to him being cast as Spock in J.J. Abrams reboot of Start Trek and its blockbuster sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. 
Agent 47, if you remember, was set to star Paul Walker in the main role, but his untimely death has seen him replaced by Rupert Friend.
Hitman was already adapted for the big screen in the 2007 movie of the same name. In that, Timothy Olyphant played the assassin with the barcode in his neck and although it did okay at the box office and received moderate reviews, it didn’t quite follow in the video games footsteps. Let’s hope that Agent 47 is a closer adaption and even better.
