The winners of the 66th annual Writers Guild Awards were announced last night, with the big winners on the night were Her and Captain Phillips.
With the Oscars coming up fast, it’s interesting to see how close a race it really is. Two of our favourite films of 2013 won big at last night’s WGA Awards, with Her picking up the Best Original screenplay and Captain Phillips winning the award for Best Adapting Screenplay. 
On the television side of things, it is with no great surprise that Breaking Bad won the main award for Best Drama series, whilst Veep won for Best Comedy series.
