The twins who played the scary ghosts in The Shining attended a special screening of Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove yesterday, and they are (obviously) all grown up. See how they look now.
One of the most iconic horror scenes of all-time, The Grady Twins scared poor Danny Lloyd in one of the many corridors of The Overlook Hotel. “Come play with us, Danny, forever and ever.” Is the chilling line they uttered in the Stanley Kubrick classic horror film The Shining, which of course was based on the legendary novel by Stephen King.
They stared as The Grady Twins when they were just eleven years old, and didn’t stay in acting. Lisa studied literature in university, whilst Louise became a microbiologist.
Now, 34 years later, the twins – Lisa and Louise Burns – attended the screening as special guests of the BFI at the LOCO London Comedy Festival.
