A television series based on the 1996 cult vampire flick From Dusk till Dawn is incoming, with Don Johnson heading the cast.

From Dusk till Dawn is beloved by many fans. Starring George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Juliette Lewis, Harvey Keitel and Salma Hayek, the film shifted from a story about criminals on the lam, to a vampire film effortlessly.

Now, a television series produced by the original director Robert Rodriguez is incoming, with Rodriguez directing the first two episodes too. from dusk til dawn

Don Johnson, who is mostly known for his role in the 80’s hit show Miami Vice, will star as Sheriff Earl McGraw. Seth and Gordon Gecko, the criminal brothers played by Clooney and Tarantino in the film, are all set to return, but will this time be played by D.J. Cotrona (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Zane Holtz (The Perks of Being a Wallflower).

The show will be aired on El Ray Network in the U.S, whilst Miramax will be distributing the series elsewhere around the world. No station has picked up the show for the UK as yet, but something will likely happen soon.
