Only a couple of weeks after the controversial casting, Charlie Hunnam has left the big screen adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Many fans of the saucy novel went crazy after Universal Studios announced that Charlie Hunnam has been cast as Christian Grey in the upcoming adaption, yet he has walked out of the project only a fortnight later. 
Universal issued a statement through Deadline.com today,
“The filmmakers of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.”
This now leaves the studio with a predicament. Actors such as Ryan Gosling and Robert Pattinson had already turned down the role before Hunnam was picked. Who can step up now for the Sam Taylor-Johnson directed movie?
