It looks like the movie adaption of the hit video games series Assassin’s Creed may finally have a director, with Daniel Espinosa apparently in talks.
Mostly known for his action film Safe House, which starred Denzil Washington and Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Espinosa is now strongly rumoured to be taking up the director’s spot in Assassin’s Creed. Espinosa has the movie Child 44 coming out later this year which will see Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and Gary Oldman onscreen together.
Assassin’s Creed is a hit video game series that revolves around a man called Desmond who, with the use of futuristic technology, is able to tap into the memories of his ancestors – a long line of assassins from years gone by.
Michael Fassbender will star and produce and now it looks like Daniel Espinosa will direct. Looking forward to an Assassin’s Creed movie? Let us know below.
