In what comes as shocking news, it has been reported that Phillip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his New York apartment today.
At this moment, news is sparse on what has actually happened, yet the Wall Street Journal reported that Hoffman’s body was found in his New York Apartment and that detectives are currently investigating. It is as yet unknown if foul played was involved. 
Hoffman won the Oscar for his role as Truman Capote in the movie Capote. He also famously starred in The Master, Boogie Nights, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Moneyball, Red Dragon, Magnolia, The Big Lebowski and many more.
It is yet unknown if he managed to finish filming his scenes for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay parts 1 and 2.
