Kuroko’s Basketball episode 4 review

October 13, 2013 By Edmond Guy Leave a Comment

Kuroko’s Basketball episode 4 review. First blood is drawn! Wait, what? Minor spoilers ahead.

Kuroko's Basketball PosterThings really escalated during this episode. We got to see a much more intense episode, featuring an injury, and that really did the series justice. I do worry that this Anime could burn too brightly and fade out. For now though this is some SERIOUS action that even non sports fans can get into.

The competitive element of Kagami wanting to be the best, Kuroko wanting to play as a team and the Generation of Miracles seeming unstoppable at times is entertaining. Combine that with the fast pace animation, that always seems to be at it’s best during the passing game, and you have a stand out Anime. This makes me wonder, is Prince of Tennis epic too?

Overall thoughts:

Great Anime, the character development is slow, sure, but that is not a bad thing. It was great to see other characters shine too. This isn’t just the Kuroko/Kagami show anymore, even though they are great, this is a team effort!

Note: We now have a Kuroko’s Basketball season 1 review online.
