Could we finally be getting a sequel to the hit Robin Williams comedy Mrs Doubtfire? Well according to some reports, we are.
It has been 21 years since Mrs Doubtfire hit our screens and became an instant classic. Starring Robin Williams, the film was about a desperate father going to the extremes of dressing like a woman in order to see his children. 
Although the original cost just $25 million to make, it went on to make $441 million at the box office, so there are certainly high hopes for a sequel to do well too. Seeing that the 1994 comedy Dumb and Dumber has a sequel coming out later this year, the demand for more sequels to 90’s movies could increase dramatically.
The Hollywood Reporter stated that Fox 2000 are putting together pre-production for the film, with Chris Columbus again down to direct and David Berenbaum – who wrote the Christmas classic Elf – writing the script.
