Yet more Ant-Man news has come through. It looks like Michael Pena will play one of the villains in Marvel’s 2015 movie.
According to This is Infamous, Michael Pena (End of Watch) is being lined up for one of two villain roles in Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man movie.
“Our understanding is that Castillo will be the film’s villain in the beginning, which takes place in the 1960s,” said This Is Infamous. “It is here that we’ll get our introduction to Ant-Man, the Hank Pym version, who works as a spy fighting against Communism.
“From there, Ant-Man will move into the modern era, with an aging Pym, recently filled by Michael Douglas, and the beginning of the Scott Lang story arc, which will eventually get Scott Lang in as Ant-Man. Lang will encounter this second villain along the way, who will serve as his primary villain, but what we’re hearing is that Pena will [end] up playing a larger role as the film develops, much more than just the opening to establish Ant-Man.”
It was announced yesterday that Michael Douglas will play Hank Pym in Ant-Man and we already knew of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang. The addition of Michael Pena would be a great one, but we know want to know who the other baddie will be.
