We now have our Kyle Reese. Jai Courtney has been hired to play the good guy from the future in The Terminator reboot.
Variety were the first to report that Jai Courtney has been assigned the job of stepping in the big shoes left by 80’s action hero Michael Biehn in the reboot for The Terminator. He will now join up with Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke, who will be playing Sarah Connor and John Connor respectively.
Jai Courtney played Bruce Willis’ son in the god-awful A Good Day to Die Hard, as well as roles in I, Frankenstein and Jack Reacher.
Alan Taylor, who recently made Thor: The Dark World will be directing in what will be the first of a stand-alone trilogy.
