The LA Film Critics Awards took place tonight, with the panel finding it hard to pick an overall winner in numerous categories including best picture with Gravity and Her sharing the award. All the results here.
With so many good films in 2013, it’s hard to pick an overall winner. It seems that the LA Film Critics are no exception as four categories ended with a tie, including Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor.
The fantastic sci-fi thriller Gravity (our Review) starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney shared honours with Spike Jonze’ Her, which stars Joaquin Phoenix. Best Actress went to both Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine and Adele Exarchopoulos for Blue is the Warmest Color, while the Best Supporting actor saw Jared Leto (Dallas Buyer’s Club) tie with James Franco (Spring Breakers).
