Annual Screen Critix Awards Announcement

Screen Critix have announced that they will be awarding the best films they have reviewed on an annual basis.

Having been reviewing some of the very best independent productions for nearly half a decade, we feel it is now time to start awarding the very best films that make it to our review desk.

In order to be eligible for nomination, each production will need to have been made within two years of July 1^st 2017 and have been submitted to Screen Critix for review in the past year (July 1^st 2016 – June 30^th 2017). If you have a film that you want reviewed by ourselves, please see the Submit Film for Review section.

The nominations will be revealed on July 3^rd with the winners being announced on July 31^st. Any films submitted for review after June 30^th will be instantly eligible for the 2018 awards.

Best Horror/Sci-Fi Short Film

Best Comedy Short Film

Best Cinematography in a Short Film

Best Actor in an Independent Feature

Best Actress in an Independent Feature

Best Independent animation

Best Writing in an Independent Production

Best Original Score in an Independent Production

Best Independent Documentary
