Viz Manga service review. Screen Critix have recently reviewed Zombie Powder vol 1 using Viz Manga. We thought we would share our thoughts on the digital manga service.
The idea is simple with Viz Manga. You buy a digital Manga and you can read it in your browser, or on an app. The process of reading on a browser is the one we will be looking at today.
We found Viz Manga to be a very enjoyable service to read Manga on. The aim of any service is to provide quality products, and reading on this platform was effortless. Arguably more enjoyable than reading a physical manga. I found the ease of use brilliant, as I used my left and right keys to quickly turn pages. Want to come back to a Manga later? That’s fine, use the bookmark option.
What made the digital read more enjoyable? Having two pages, in fullscreen I might add, perfectly aligned next to each other is much easier to read than traditional reading. It also allows the artwork to shine at it’s top quality possible. You even have the option of zooming in if you like, even if I never felt the need to use this function it is still cool to know it is there.
Viz are obviously hoping that this service combats Manga piracy; which is wildly popular unfortunately. I would suggest to anyone who genuinely enjoys Viz Media titles that the digital service is great. By using it, paying of course, you support the creators and assure that companies like Viz, Crunchyroll and others can continue to bring out services like this and titles in English, officially.
Note: this review represents our time reading Zombie Powder Vol 1, and we used the browser version of the service.
