TRANSFORMERS 4 gets new teaser poster and full title

September 4, 2013 By Carl Burgess Leave a Comment

News regarding Transformers 4 has swept the internet today, as a teaser poster and a full title has been announced for the upcoming 2014 film.

It’s been two years already since Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released to mixed reactions. Now, without Shia LaBeouf or Megan Fox, Transformers 4 is all set to right wrongs in 2014. The new cast consists of such actors as Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and (ahem) Kelsey Grammer, with Michael Bay once again at the helm.

We now have a full name for the film – Transformers: Age of Extinction. All though little is known of the plot, it is believed to be set four years after ‘Dark of the Moon’ and be the start of a whole new trilogy.

It is also been confirmed that the Dinobots will feature. Many fans of the Transformers action figures in the 80’s will remember the Dinobots as a cool series of toys – robots who could transform into robotic dinosaurs. Led by the fearless warrior Grimlock (T-Rex); the Dinobots assisted Optimus Prime and the Autobots in their fight against the Decepticons.

Other members of the Dinobots were Slag (Triceratops), Snarl (Stegosaurus), Swoop (Pteranodon) and Sludge (Apatosaurus). If the SFX guys are on point, it may be an incredible visual treat to see these guys on screen.

The last film in the franchise went on to make 1.1 billion dollars worldwide, expect similar numbers when this entry opens on June 27th 2014.
