Tom Hardy and co are heading back to Australia to shoot some extra scenes for Mad Max: Fury Road, next year’s anticipated installment in the Road Warrior series.
It’s been over a year since we saw Tom Hardy on the big screen, but the talented Brit has been keeping himself busy with a series of big projects like Lock, Child 44 and Rocketman, the latter seeing him portray Elton John.
His biggest project though, is arguably Mad Max: Fury Road. Hardy takes over from where Mel Gibson left off in Beyond the Thunderdome, as Max Rockatansky – a former police officer in the future who takes revenge on road gangs for the murder of his family.
Tom and his fellow cast, which consists of Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult among others, are heading back to the land down-under to film more scenes for the movie, as he tells Flicks and the City.
“(Mad Max)’s great. It’s a big old piece, it’s a behemoth of a piece.
“I’m off there next week to do some reshoots, well not reshoots actually, but doing more. We’re building, building more Mad Maxes, even more spectacular and cool stuff.”
