According to Latino Review, who are on the ball with exclusive the majority of the time, The Avengers: Age of Ultron will feature a second villain – Baron Von Strucker. For those with little knowledge of the Marvel comic world, Von Strucker is a former Nazi and one of the leaders of Hydra.
We have already encountered Hydra in Captain America: The First Avenger, when ole’ Cap took on the organization and Red Skull. Could Von Strucker have been pulling the strings all along, or has he taken over from the Red Skull?
Apparently, Joss Whedon is looking at two actors for the part, and they are Dougray Scott and Martin Csokas.
Scott was interesting the first choice to play Wolverine in the first X-Men film, but ultimately declined so he could film Mission Impossible 2 with Tom Cruise. Csokas is mostly known for playing Celeborn in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, but he will feature in some huge movies next year – The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Noah and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
James Spader’s Ultron will be the main villain of the second Avengers film, how Von Strucker comes into this is anyone’s guess right now.
