It has been announced that Night at the Museum 3 will begin shooting in February for a Christmas 2014 release.
Ben Stiller and Shawn Levy will unite for another installment of Night at the Museum, just in time for Christmas 2014. Still will once again play Larry Daley, a museum security guard who came to the realisation that the ancient exhibits have a tendency to come alive a wreak havoc at night. 
The last two films have done great business at the box office. Night at the Museum made $574 million back in 2006, whilst the sequel Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian did $413 million in 2009.
It is as yet unknown if any other actors from the series – like Ricky Gervais, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan will return.
