Ant-Man has added another actor to its ever-growing cast list, as Matt Gerald joins to play a villain in the super hero movie.
According to Deadline, Matt Gerald has joined Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man as a villain. This isn’t the first time Matt has played a part in the Marvel Universe, seeing as he played “White Power Dave” in the Marvel one-shot “All Hail the King”, which saw Ben Kingsley’s Iron Man 3 character in prison. It is doubtful that Gerald will be playing the same character in Ant-Man.
Ant-Man is the first movie in Marvel’s Phase 3. It is already set to be joined by Captain America 3 and (most likely) Thor 3 and Doctor Strange. Paul Rudd will star as the titular hero alongside a great ensemble that consists of Michael Douglas, Patrick Wilson, Michael Pena, Corey Stroll and Evangeline Lilly.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier has recently been released and is doing huge numbers at the box office, as well as picking up some fantastic reviews along the way. Guardians of the Galaxy is set to hit the cinemas this summer and looks like that too could do extremely well.
