With Guardians of the Galaxy set to hit cinemas next summer, Lee Pace talks about his role as the villainous Ronan the Accuser.
With Iron Man 3 kicking off Marvel’s Phase 2, we are now fast approaching Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. The latter has mostly been kept quiet, but what we do know is the cast.
Lee Pace, who has featured in such films as The Hobbit, Lincoln and The Fall, will play the lead villain in Guardians of the Galaxy and he loved every minute of it.
“He’s a fucking psycho!” Pace told Click Online. “He’s a real monster. I’ve had the best time playing this character. I’m glad it’s all on film, [as] I never thought I could be so nuts in it! James Gunn is just putting together a phenomenal movie and I’ve had the best time working with him on it. And yeah, we’ve made a monster of an alien!”
Pace was part of a big ensemble which consisted of Chris Pratt, Benicio Del Toro, Zoe Saldana, former WWE wrestler Dave (Batista) Bautista, Michael Rooker, Glenn Close, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and john C. Reilly.
We can’t wait for this one.
