Kelsey Grammer joins THE EXPENDABLES 3

September 18, 2013 By Carl Burgess Leave a Comment

He may be best known for his role as Fraser in the television series Cheers and (ahem) Fraser, but Kelsey Grammer has been added to the huge cast of The Expendables 3.

Along with his role in the upcoming Transformer: Age of Extinction, Kelsey Grammer has now taken a role in The Expendables 3. Grammer will play a character called Bonaparte – a former mercenary who helps out Sylvester Stallone and his team. kelsey-grammer-picture-2

The role of Bonaparte was originally offered to Nicholas Cage, who turned it down earlier this year.

The film is currently shooting in Bulgaria and stars Stallone, alongside Terry Crews, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Wesley Snipes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford and Female UFC champion Ronda Rousey.

The Expendables and its sequel have been hits for Sylvester Stallone and co. Expect this to do big business too when it hits the cinemas on August 15th 2014.
