Some big rumours have emerged regarding the character of Thanos in the Marvel universe. Apparently Josh Brolin will be portraying the Mad Titan.
Although there has been no official announcement as of yet, The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Josh Brolin will be playing Thanos in some upcoming Marvel films. The No Country for Old Men actor will be playing the villainous Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and The Avengers 3. The latter being when our heroes finally get to battle with him over the infinity stones – something we predicted long ago.
Thanos featured in a mid-credits scene after the first Avengers film and people have been chatting away in regards to who will actually play the near indestructible villain ever since, well we know have an answer.
Brolin is one of the world’s leading actors and is known for his performances in The Goonies, True Grit, Jonah Hex and more.
If true, this is a genius casting by the guys at Marvel. More on this when we have it.
