Although Jason Reitman’s next film ‘Labour Day’ doesn’t hit the screens until early next year, he is already preparing for his next project.
Whilst early buzz for the Kate Winslet starring Labour Day is building, Jason Reitman (Up in the Air, Juno) is apparently looking to adapt Chad Kultgen’s novel Men, Women & Children. The book explores the sexual pressures at work on a handful of troubled, conflicted junior-high students and their equally dysfunctional parents. From porn-surfing fathers to World of Warcraft-obsessed sons, from competitive cheerleaders to their dissatisfied, misguided mothers.
It seems that Adam Sandler, Cameron Diaz, Rosemarie DeWitt and Jennifer Garner are all vying for roles in, what could be, a controversial film.
Although no official announcement has been made, the film could start rolling before the year is out.
