Jack Nicholson retiring from acting?

September 4, 2013 By Carl Burgess Leave a Comment

It is rumoured that Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson has retired from acting after fifty-five years on our screens.

Although now announcement has been made by Jack Nicholson himself, not his people, RadarOnline has created a huge stir on Twitter by announcing the 76 year old actor has called it a day.

Nicholson is regarded as one of the greatest actors of all-time, winning an impressive three academy awards to date. His roles in such films as One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Shining, About Schmidt, The Departed, Easy Rider and Batman, will go down in history.

With just five films in the last ten years, it is fair to say that Nicholson has cut down the workload drastically. He hasn’t been seen since 2010’s How Do You Know, alongside Paul Ruud, Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson – a film that didn’t do well at the box office at all.

RadarOnline also have gone on to say that, although Nicholson will not be in the movies anymore, he will still be seen at the Oscars and other shows.

Other media outlets have accused the rumour as being “totally false”.

More on this when we have it.
