Lindsay Lohan is looking to salvage her movie career by producing and starring in a psychological thriller called Inconceivable.
Lohan, who has had her fair share of drugs and drink problems in recent years, is trying to get her movie career back on track. She announced at the Sundance Film Festival that she will produce and star in a new psychological thriller called Inconceivable. There are no details regarding the plot as yet, but she is looking to interest some heavyweight thespians to the project, including Jessica Lange and Juliette Lewis.
“I’ve never had the honour of coming here before, to bring something to the table, which is starting fresh for me,” Lohan said at a press conference. “It’s a nice change to be back among people that are in the industry that I’ve been in since I was a kid.
“It’s therapeutic for me to throw myself into something that really excites me and something that I love to do so much.”
As of yet, the film has no director, but Lohan is on the lookout. The film is also reported to have a $5 million budget, which could attract some of the best up-and-coming movie makers.
Producer and financier Randall Emmett told the conference that audiences will be “really shocked when they see Lindsay take this role on. [Lohan] is one of the greatest young actresses of her generation”.
