News has come from Cannes that The Weinstein Company will be finally moving forward with the long proposed Halloween 3D movie.
You can’t keep a good man down. Or in this case, you can’t keep a bad man who goes around butchering babysitters down. Yes, the legendary Michael Myers is set for yet another resurrection, only this time in 3d, according to the guys at Bloody Disgusting.
Rob Zombie remade the classic John Carpenter horror movie back in 2007 and then followed it up with the hugely disappointing Halloween 2. Halloween 3D has been rumoured ever since, but without Zombie.
A couple of directors have been attached in the past, but it looks like Weinstein could be on the lookout for someone new.
It’s unlikely that the new film will be a remake of Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, seeing that the film was the only one in the series that didn’t feature Myers. It was about Halloween masks that turn the wearer into zombies (or something like that).
Either way, are you looking forward to Myers’ return, again?
