The third G.I. Joe film has a new writer on board, with Snow White and the Huntsman scribe Evan Daugherty signing up for the action series.
The news was announced by The Hollywood Reporter, who stated that Jon M. Chu will direct an Evan Daugherty script. There is no news on the plot yet or even the cast, but it is rumoured that the like of Dwayne Johnson, Ray Park and Bruce Willis will most likely return.
G.I. Joe 3 will supposedly be shot in 3D. The last film, G.I. Joe: Retaliation was converted to 3D in post, which prolonged the release of the film.
