The title and cast for Bond 24 has been announced today and we have all the juicy details right here.
As promised, details for the next James Bond movie were released today. The film will be called ‘Spectre’ and is set for release on November 6th 2015. Spectre is, of course, the name of the global terrorist organisation and is an acronym for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion. The leader of the organization is the super villain Ernst Stavros Blofeld.
As expected, Daniel Craig, Ben Wishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Naomi Harris and Rory Kinnear will all return in the respective parts. They will be joined by Christoph Waltz as Oerhauser (although we still think it’s a false name for Blofeld), Dave Bautista as a henchman, Andrew Scott, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.
Principal Photography is set to start tomorrow (5/12/2014) and will film in Pinewood London, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee, Austria.
Even the car that Bond will be driving in Spectre has been announced – the Aston Martin DB10.
Sam Mendes will once again be directing the movie, following on from his turn as the director on Skyfall. Skyfall is the most successful James Bond film to date, and garnered over $1 billion in the box office alone.
Can Spectre surpass Skyfall? We will have to wait until this time next year.
