Attack On Titan Episode 25 Review (Spoilers)

September 29, 2013 By Edmond Guy Leave a Comment

Sh*t just got real. That is usually a weekly statement for Attack On Titan but surprisingly it constantly adds another layer of “OW SH*T!” and that is no different this week.  Check out our Attack On Titan episode 25 review after the break.

In a time where Breaking Bad dominates television for it’s excellent story telling; Attack On Titan is without a doubt the Anime equivalent.

Attack On TitanEpisode 25 will serve as the current finale for the series. The series will obviously be picked up for another season but with the Manga still ongoing it comes as somewhat of a relief that they are taking a break. Some Anime will ruin its story by catching up to the Manga and deviating from the source material. Soul Eater did this and the storyline was still good …. Blue Exorcist screwed up in my opinion.

Right, let’s talk about the episode. Action? CHECK. Tension? CHECK. WTF moments? Check. This episode served as a great ending to the current run. The fight between Erin and Annie was off the charts epic. The tension between Erwin and the Military Police / those questioning him for the aftermath of the episode was great. And the WTF moment …. there was a few but the one that really made me just go “OW SH*T” was the Titans face in the wall. It changed the entire complexion of the series. No longer are the walls a barrier but a horrible reminder that humanity is in trouble. More trouble than they know!

Stay tuned for a full series review but for now ….. Screen Critix just gave it’s first 5/5 for a TV episode.
