It seems that the Masters of the Universe reboot has found its director, as Kick Ass 2’s Jeff Wadlow is said to be making the movie.
Let’s face it, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe needs a reboot. The action figure line was one of the best-selling during the 80’s and the story of Eternia and its inhabitants is rich. The Dolph Lundgren-film of 1987 was very poor and didn’t satisfy the fans.
A reboot has been talked about for years and Jon Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) was attached to direct, yet he pulled out a few months ago. Now, according to Schmoes Know, Jedd Wadlow has been hired to bring the world to life in a new movie.
Terry Rossio, the man who helped write Pirates of the Caribbean, will also be working on the script for Masters of the Universe.
There are no other news in terms of release date, shooting dates, plot or stars as yet. We want to see the likes of Beast Man, Mer-Man, King Hssss and Triclops in the film.
