Just when it was looking like 2015 would be a boring year for film (sarcasm), the news that the fifth film in the Bourne franchise will be released then too.
Following on from 2012’s Bourne Legacy, which saw Jeremy Renner take centre stage as spy Aaron Cross, the fifth film will see a new director step up to the plate in the shape of Fast & Furious director Justin Lin. 
Jeremy Renner is expected to return, but nothing of the plot or even the full name of the movie has been released as of yet.
Many had thought that Matt Damon would also return to the character of Jason Bourne that he portrayed in the three hit films – The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. Unfortunately, it looks like that was just wishful thinking.
2015 looks like it will be the biggest year ever for blockbuster films.
