Gemma Arterton and Tim Roth to star in THE KEYS TO THE STREET

September 8, 2013 By Carl Burgess Leave a Comment

More big news stories are seeping out of the Toronto International Film Festival. Gemma Arterton and Tim Roth are to star in the London-based thriller The Keys to the Street.

The Keys to the Street has been rumoured for many a year, with Christopher Nolan looking to direct, yet the Batman franchise had kept him too busy. Now with Interstellar on the way, the film has been handed over to Julius Sevcik to direct the Christopher Nolan adapted screenplay from a Ruth Rendell novel.

The first big names to sign up to the project are Gemma Arterton (Clash of the Titans, Quantum of Solace) and Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, The Incredible Hulk). The story revolves around London’s exclusive Regent’s Park area, where Arterton’s character takes a housesitting job in order to escape an abusive ex-boyfriend (Tim Roth). Soon, a series of murders start to take place in Regent’s Park just as she starts an affair with another man (played by Max Irons).

Filming is set to begin early in 2014.
