Quentin Tarantino has hinted at his next movie, and it will apparently be a return to the western genre.
Tarantino returned late last year with the successful and critically acclaimed Django Unchained. The movie saw Jamie Foxx as a slave who is released to become a bounty hunter. He then looks to track down his wife and gain revenger for her ill-treating by her master Candie (Leonardo Di Caprio).
Speaking with Jay Leno, Tarantino gave us some clues into his next venture,
“I haven’t told anyone this publicly, but I will say the genre, it’s a western.
“I had so much fun doing Django, and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing,”
So there will be more cowboys and gunfights to come from Tarantino. Now 50, Quentin Tarantino has made such films as Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds.
