According to legendary British film director Sir Ridley Scott, a script for Prometheus 2 is currently being worked on.
Ridley Scott has had his fair share of making some exceptional movies. The British director not only made the sci-fi horror classic Alien, but also Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Rain and Thelma and Louise. 
Whilst taking questions at the press conference for his latest film The Counselor, Scott admitted that a script is currently being worked on for Prometheus 2.
Prometheus was an eagerly anticipated release in 2012 and acted as a (sort of) prequel to the Alien saga. It is expected that both Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will return as will the Engineers who played the alien race in the first film.
There are no news yet regarding if the Xenomorphs from the Sigourney Weaver films will play a part, but we can all hope.
