Although he never won an Oscar once again, Leonardo DiCaprio is looking to stay busy, as he has signed on to play a role in Blood on Snow.
Deadline has reported that Leonardo DiCaprio has joined the cast of Blood on Snow, which is an adaption of a Jo Nesbo novel. Daniel Espinosa, who was behind Safe House, will be in the director’s chair.
We haven’t seen many Jo Nesbo adaptions so far. Head Hunters was made in Norway, but that is about it, although nearly his entire back catalogue has been tipped to make it to the big screen.
Blood on Snow will be the first Hollywood adaption of one of Nesbo’s books. Not much is known about Blood on Snow, seeing as the book is only available later this year. What we do know is that, Leonardo is being lined up to star as a hitman who has to go into hiding when a job doesn’t go to plan. What’s more, he goes into hiding taking his target with him, who just happens to be the wife of his boss.
More on Blood on Snow when we have it.
