A two-time Oscar winning actor, Kevin Spacey is to lend his voice to one of the biggest video game franchises of all-time – Call of Duty.

The release of a new Call of Duty game is a huge annual event. Millions flock to every Autumn to grab hold of the latest installment of the shooter in order to play their friends and others online. The game has had a knack for adding in stars to voice characters. Kiefer Sutherland, Gary Oldman, Kevin McKidd, Lance Henrickson, Barry Pepper, Ed Harris, Ice Cube and Sam Worthington have all voiced characters in the past. kevin spacey

Now it seems that Kevin Spacey is to join the series and play the main role too. Activision have been leaving hints which will lead up to a May 4th reveal. One such hint is playable voice recording of which is clearly Kevin Spacey. Hidden within the sound file though is a spectrogram – an image made from sound waves. When you look at the image, it clearly shows a soldiers holding a rifle. An image that looks very like the one on the Call of Duty website.

Kevin Spacey has been turning heads in Netflix’ original series House of Cards recently. He is also known for his mesmorising performances in American Beauty, L.A. Confidential, The Usual Suspects and The Life of David Gale.
