Gurren Lagann campaign targets Anime Limited, details after the break.
Founding Screen Critix member, and anime blogger, Jamie Me recently launched a campaign to be involved with the re-release of Gurren Lagann in the UK. In an open letter, to Anime Limited, the blogger had this to say:
“I want to be involved in your re-release of the Gurren Lagann Anime here in the UK. This means something to me on a personal level. I’m hungry for this opportunity, I’ll tweet you every damn day if I have to until you listen to me.”
Since the open letter, dated December 29th, we have seen a number of unofficial posters and press pieces. So far, the letter has gone unanswered. In a post regarding an unofficial poster, which you can view below, the blogger continues to be hopeful:
“Hopefully Anime Limited will get in touch, until they do you can bet that I won’t stop. As I’ve said, I’m hungry for this opportunity. I think about it every spare moment I have. A tweet, or an e-mail… anything, just get in touch and let’s do this!”
Stay tuned for more news on the story, we’ll let you know if Anime Limited get in touch.
