Who ya gonna call? Well, Paul Feig apparently, as the director of Bridesmaids has confirmed he will make Ghostbusters 3 with an all-female cast.
A third film in the Ghostbusters saga has been mooted for decades now and, just when we seemed to be getting closer to the film becoming a reality, we sadly lost Harold Ramis. The death of Ramis was one of the major reasons why the likes of Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd decided against returning.
Now, after rumours, Paul Feig has confirmed he will take the director’s chair and be the man to bring back the beloved series to the big screen. Instead of Pete Venkman, Winston Zeddmore and Raymond Stantz being the scientists –cum-ghost catchers, we will now have an all-female team.
There are no news in regards to who will part of the team, but you can expect some names from the following to appear – Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Kristen Wiig, Rebel Wilson, Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza and Rashida Jones.
