Paddington has lost his voice. Colin Firth has pulled out of the Paddington movie with only months to go until the release date.
The Paddington trailer was released last week, and we have it right here on Screen Critix. A couple things were very noticeable from watching the teaser video – Paddington had no voice and the makers have turned the film into a whirlwind of chaos and (quite) filthy humour.
Now, Colin Firth has decided to part ways and will no longer be providing his voice for the bear. Rumours state that he is not happy with the direction the movie has gone.
This is not a first, many actors and actresses have pulled out from animated films in the past, but with the film coming out in six months, he has left it quite late. We expect his replacement to be announced rather soon, but it doesn’t bode well for the film to be getting such negativity at this stage.
