Known by UK television audiences for her comic characters, Miranda Hart is making the transition to the big screen in a movie alongside Jude Law, Jason Statham and Melissa McCarthy.
Melinda has starred in comedy programmes and the drama Call the Midwife, but now she will star in a comedy spy film, to be directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids). The 41 year old is currently on tour with her comedy stand-up act, but she will be flying over to Budapest to start filming very soon. 
“I am beyond excited to work with Paul who I am a huge fan of and it will be nothing less than a hoot to work with Melissa McCarthy.”
Feig has stated in an interview with Deadline that he has been a fan of Hart’s for many years and he is excited to bring her to the big screen.
Nothing else is known about the movie, other than it is scheduled for a May 2015 release.
