Spoilers ahead.

Carrying on from last week’s episode, Crane and Mills now have the horsemen called Death captured – bound by chains and under UV light in an underground room cursed by a protective hex. They decide to interrogate him to find out his weakness and the truth behind the ‘secret war’.

Sleepy Hollow episode 8 builds more on the mythology of Sleepy Hollow while adding in more action set-pieces and a brilliant twist to the proceedings.

Death is obviously headless and cannot talk, so Mills and Crane approach their old pal Brooks, who has been communicating with the antagonist. After binding him to a chair, Brooks acts as a vehicle for Death to speak, who then mocks Crane’s past.

We then get to see Crane when he started to see his wife and how she was betrothed to another first – Crane’s best friend.

Also, the Hessian from earlier episodes, learn of Death’s capture and set about a plan to release him, which includes taking out a power grid to stop the UV. How they come to know of this is unknown, maybe there is an informant we have yet to work out. sleepy hollow episode 8

Sleepy Hollow episode 8 builds more on the mythology of Sleepy Hollow while adding in more action set-pieces and a brilliant twist to the proceedings.  One of the brilliant things about this series is that the story is like that of a maze – when you think that you have figured it out, you reach a dead end and have to turn back and find another way.

Overall Thoughts:

We really enjoyed Sleepy Hollow episode 8, we are sure you will too. The twist alone will surprise and makes this week’s installment a must-watch. Do so as soon as you are able.
