Episode 2 of the fourth season of The Walking Dead aired this week on small screens. Rick and co have yet more problems at the prison. Here is the review.

This has got to be one of the most gruesome episodes to date and people of the faint heart, like myself, will most likely squirm a little throughout. Picking up where last week’s episode left off, Patrick has turned into a zombie and causes an outbreak in the prison. Rick and Daryl are around to kill the undead and move those unaffected to a safer block.
The gang soon come to the conclusion that Patrick had died from a deadly flu strain before coming back has a zombie. It seems that some of the others may have this, due to them coughing a lot.
If that wasn’t enough though, more and more zombies are surrounding the prison’s perimeter and pushing against the fence – causing it to nearly cave in. Rick and Daryl then come up with a plan to entice the zombies away from the fence by slaughtering some live pigs and leaving a trail for the zombies to follow. This was actually a powerful scene and I found myself feeling more sorry for the pigs than I do for any of the human characters.
The episode does end on a bit of a cliffhanger again, although I won’t spoil that. Another good episode, long may The Walking Dead continue.
