Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR filming in Iceland

September 9, 2013 By Carl Burgess Leave a Comment

Christopher Nolan’s star studded sci-fi Interstellar is underway on the most alien land on our planet – Iceland. Rumours are abound of multiple large scale practical sets including a downed ship.

The Hollywood cast won’t have to strain their skills to make us believe that they were tested by the environment, which will free up their time on site to concentrate on their characters. A useful thing for Matt Damon who is reputedly only on set for two weeks so has either become the most efficient performer around or has a limited role.

With rumours a plenty and facts being guarded we are left to draw our own conclusions for now, but one thing that I do know is on release, I for one will be sat front and centre.

Intersteller is set for a November 2014 release. The movie stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Wes Bentley and the aforementioned Matt Damon
